E3 2009: Microsoft

This year’s E3 started off with a bang, as Microsoft brought the awesomeness back to the show. No graphs. No charts. No numbers. Nothing but trailers, game announcements, and live demos. Here is a breakdown of Microsoft’s show at E3.

-The Beatles Rockband will be released on 9-9-09. The first DLC will be Abbey Road (full album). “All You Need Is Love” will be an exclusive Xbox Live DLC and proceeds go to Doctors without Borders.

-Left 4 Dead 2 will be released on November 17, 2009.

-Splinter Cell: Conviction gameplay and trailer.

-Final Fantasy XIII gameplay on the Xbox 360. Spring 2010 target release.

-Metal Gear Solid franchise is coming to the Xbox 360. Debut teaser for Metal Gear Rising.

-Forza Motorsport 3 is coming out October 27, 2009. Will have over 400 cars in the game. Will also allow users to create designs to throw on cars.

-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will have two map packs, both of which will be released on Xbox Live first.

-Crackdown 2 is coming.
